Rome

Rome, Italy

Visiting Rome, I found myself immersed into what has been described as a 3,000-year-old indoor and outdoor museum. No matter where I traveled, I was surrounded by ancient monuments, art treasures and timeless architecture in churches, galleries and protected ruins. I had so many memorable experiences. The romantic in me made a wish as I threw a coin into Trevi fountain. Being Catholic, touring Vatican City was like a pilgrimage of faith. I was in awe seeing several of the masterpieces from Michelangelo, Raphael, Caravaggio, Bernini and so many others that I had studied and admired. From the exquisite sites to the amazing culture and history of this grand European capital, the Eternal City of Rome is certainly one not to miss.
