Mike’s Journey as an Artist

Santa Fe is in the rear-view mirror and we’re back home in Cincinnati. A city rich in American art history. I’m in my studio in the Essex building, a funky structure that provides studios to a variety of artists ranging from the emerging to the amazing. I look back at my six years in Santa Fe and am grateful for the many people who provided me with guidance in my journey, both frustrating and rewarding, towards growing as an artist. So, thanks to Michael Maguire, Don Finkeldeigh, Kevin Gorges, Roger Williams and Huihan Liu. And thanks to those painting friends who shared their talents and opinions.
